HACH Flow’s non-contact FLO-DAR® AV Sensor revolutionizes open-channel flow monitoring by measuring from above the surface, using advanced radar velocity-sensing technology. Because the sensor is installed above the flow, the FLO-DAR Sensor is far less susceptible to fouling and therefore much less likely to fail to record flow data. It also successfully takes highly accurate readings under a much wider range of flow and site conditions. This includes challenging flows such as those with high solids content, high temperatures, shallow flows and high velocities. Combining this with patented algorithm’s, the FLO-DAR AV Sensor ensures accurate and reliable flow data.
